Victor is the Founder and Executive Director of the Centre for Human Rights Education, Advice and Assistance (CHREAA) in Malawi. CHREAA is a non-governmental organization that was established in the year 2000 and is working countrywide in Malawi. It was officially registered in 2006 under the Trustees Incorporation Act. CHREAA has been engaged in several projects promoting the rights of the underprivileged in Malawi, thus; prisoners, women, and children to ensure that their rights are respected and protected.

Victor has vast experience in the area of human rights. He was instrumental in the drive to reduce the prison infections and successfully lobbied the Government of Malawi through the Ministry of Finance and parliament to increase the prison health budget and a 50% increase was achieved as a result of such efforts in the fiscal year of 2014-15; he was instrumental in the establishment of a Prison Health Advocacy Committee, which comprises of the civil society, government and development partners, with a focus to advocating for access to adequate health services in prison (2014).

Victor has also been involved in the campaign for the decriminalization of vagrancy laws in Malawi (Present) which has resulted in invalidating Section 184 (1) c of the penal code (Malawi). He is passionate and an advocate for education for all kids.

Victor is trained in Early Childhood Care Development (ECD), Youth Development, Paralegal Studies, Education and Social studies at the University of Malawi, and Basic Criminal Law at the University of Kwazulu Natal. Victor is happy to volunteer his expertise, experience, and knowledge to Annika Children’s initiatives.
